I don't know about you but it's been really difficult to narrow down what I want for Christmas this year. Obvi, there are a billion things I want but I try to ask for things I really need and are actually realistic (budget wise). My wish list is a mixture of both. Some things I need (or think I need) and others I just really want and am saving pennies for them. Either way, I hope I'm on Santa's nice list and can score at least one. Be sure to check back for the beau & bear's lists! Hope you're having a good week!
When HowAboutWe reached out offering the beau and I a date night, I was thrilled! We're always up to try something new and love spending time together. When I was looking through all the different dates they offer, the empanada making class instantly caught my eye (I recently fell in love with empanadas from my last trip to NYC).
HowAboutWe has great options for couples to try new dates in their city without the planning (winning!). I can't leave out my single pals either; they also have fun date options for singles looking to do something outside of the the norm. Currently they're in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Chicago and quickly expanding! Another reason to love How About We is that they also offer free dates, like coffee & cookies or a workout class! They have a little bit of everything.
We arrived to Gilberth's Rotisserie & Grill on a sunny afternoon and took our seats. We started with a yummy brut and then learned how to make delicious empanadas, both baked and fried. They had an assortment of stuffing options like flavored meats, seasoned veggies, and even a cinnamon apple. We enjoyed wine pairings and met other great couples living in the city.
All our yummy stuffing supplies! We both loved the chorizo and lamb mix.
Ta Da! The finished product. These were the fried ones (corn & flour).
I love HowAboutWe! We've found new restaurants and fun activities to do in San Francisco that I wasn't aware of. BONUS: You can sign up here (it's free!) to browse all their fun dates (we're doing this next week!) and get a $50 credit towards a date. It's also a great gift to give a favorite couple (or single) of yours this holiday season.
So you agree... planning a date is easy with HowAboutWe
What's not to love about Thanksgiving? Spending some QT with family and friends, great food and deals, deals, deals! This year we opted to dress up a bit more than usual, since we were celebrating it at one family's house and it was my brother's first time home from college. Hope your Thanksgiving was terrific, cheers to the upcoming holiday season!
