3 FOR ME {APRIL}

Wednesday, April 30, 2014

Bye April, you were awesome! I was in 4 different states this month, so I'm hoping to get a few relaxing weekends in May. This month's installment of 3 for Me includes a hilarious read, finally finding a good BBQ spot in SF, and a beauty product everyone should know about!

One thing the beau and I have in common is that we love comedy! Stand up, movies, shows, and even books. I was so excited when my neighbor offered me this book because it has always been on my list. If you love SNL, 30 Rock, Tina Fey, Mean Girls or comedy in general, then you'll love this book. I was literally cry laughing on my flight while reading it and it brings back such fond memories of 30 Rock!

P.S. Happy 10 year anniversary to Mean Girls! You will always be a classic.
Restaurant: Bitters, Bock & Rye

I'm a HUGE BBQ fan and always love trying different styles, especially when I'm traveling. I've been trying to find a good one in SF and a co-worker kept telling me about Bitters Bock & Rye. I should have taken the advice waay earlier, holy amazingness! I had their sweet potato with chicken and added jalapeƱos for a little kick. The beau enjoyed their catfish sand-o and we split their bomb.com beans. Besides having amazing food, they have a huge selection of beers and fantastic cocktails. I'm excited to get their brisket, as it was sold out when we went.

I'm pretty lucky when it comes to acne and rarely get it. But when I do they are painful and last awhile. I had read on A cup of Jo (a favorite blog of mine) on a post about beauty routines about this Burt's Bees Blemish stick.  After reading more about the product, that it was all-natural and worked magic, I had to give it a try. Especially for only $8! And its works! You roll it over whatever slight blemish you have and instantly feel the cool sensation. It only takes a few times and the blemish seems to instantly disappear. I think this should be in every girls arsenal!

So you agree... you had an amazing April
