Most gals start to freak out when it comes to packing for a vacay or biz trip. Have no fear gals: I have some great tips for making beach packing a breeze!
Tip 1: A few colorful dresses/rompers make for simple evening attire. I like to go for easy, not-too-tight light ones since I know I'll have a little sunburn.
Tip 2: Pack swim suits that are easy to mix and match. I also like to bring different types of tops so I don't get horrible tan lines.
Tip 3: Shorts in different colors and fabrics help to create new pool or exploring-the-town looks without having to pack too many pairs. Bonus: be sure to fold shorts in half and then roll them up so you can create more space in your suitcase!
Tip 4: I like to bring simple sandals in basic colors that can work with any look. I also pack at least 1 tennis shoe that I wear on my flight out. Always pack your shoes in first so you can tuck light tees and tanks in between them.*Clearly Wally wasn't as excited about my packing.*
Tip 5: I bring a bunch of tanks and tees. I didn't take a photo of these because it's really up to your style. I brought along 3-4 basic tees, 4-5 tanks, 1 chambray for a light layer, and 1 light sweater for the flight home.
Bag Tips: A large beach bag is essential, not only for bringing your lotions and reading material to the pool, but using as a 2nd carry-on bag for any goodies you pick up on your trip. I also pack 1 basic clutch for dinners.
Accessory tips: No need to waste space in your bag for your large sun hat - wear it on the plane! Don't bring too many bangles and jewels you'll be worried about losing: remember, you're on the beach, not the runway. Keep it simple!
